Tanker and bus in horrific accident - No serious injuries sustained These are real pictures of an horrific accident where thankfully no-one was seriously injured. Apart from the driver the bus was empty, amazingly he walked away! The driver of the tanker lorry was taken to hospital for treatment but was not seriously injured. We are publishing these pictures to highlight the dangers of the road and to highlight the conditions under which this accident happened. Bus driver = £8 p/hour or approx. £16,500 p/annum. Tanker driver = £17p/hour or approx. £36,000 p/annum. Does this seem right to you? What price do we put on the safety of people on public transport? |
Click on images for enlargement. Would you risk this for £16k a year? Who has more responsibility? The bus driver who could have upto 40 passengers or the tanker driver who wouldn't cry over spilt milk. Isn't it time we had fair pay for bus drivers? |
